This is a great way to experiment with size, shape, and altering a thrown form. With these skills you’ll be able to create many different altered basket and bowl shapes.

I’ll discuss the best clays and glazes for ovenware and show you two handle styles. The skills you’ll learn in this class will allow you to make many different casserole and baking pan shapes.
In this class you will learn how to make a wheel thrown bulb vase and a trimming chuck. This form is best practiced with 2 pounds of clay. Once you have mastered this form you should try more clay to throw larger forms. The trimming chuck can be used with multiple size vases.
