Michele’s Comfort Soup

The awesome thing about this soup is, after the base, you can add any favorite ingredient to make it your own!

BASE
1/4 Block Velveeta Cheese, Cubed
1/4 C Half & Half
1 Capful of “McCormick’s Salad Supreme” Seasoning
Warm Water, as needed for desired thickness

On low heat, combine cheese, half & half, and seasonings to a quart pan, stirring occasionally. When cheese is completely melted, add water and stir thoroughly. Turn heat up to med-low, erring towards low. 

To this add your favorite comfort soup ingredient. Some suggestions: cubed & skinned boiled potatoes, cooked & chopped broccoli, macaroni (cooked to al dente and drained), whatever. 

Continue to cook, with desired ingredients, on med-low heat about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. 

Serve over the crackers of your choice.
